Returns & Exchanges

We build products we're proud of. If something doesn't meet your standard, we want to know — and we'll fix it. This is how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.

We want you to keep it — because it's worth keeping.

Every product in the GOALS by Splurjj store is built to be held onto. The book is meant to be read and re-read. The apparel is meant to be worn. The drinkware is meant to sit on your desk as a daily reminder of who you're becoming.

We designed this return policy not as an exit door but as a trust signal. We stand behind what we sell. Returns exist for genuine problems — not buyer's remorse. We ask for honesty. We'll meet you with the same.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange. After 30 days, all sales are final. No exceptions outside of manufacturer defects or fulfillment errors on our part.

What's Eligible

Not everything qualifies for a return. Here's the honest breakdown:

  • Unworn apparel with original tags attached
  • Unused drinkware in original packaging
  • Wrong item received (our error)
  • Damaged or defective items on arrival
  • Book in original condition (unread, unmarked)

✕ Not Eligible

  • Worn, washed, or altered apparel
  • Drinkware that has been used or washed
  • Items without original tags or packaging
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Sale or final sale items
  • Gift cards
Sizing note: Please use our size guide before ordering apparel. We cannot accept returns on apparel that was ordered in the wrong size due to not checking the guide. The size guide is available on each product page.

How to Initiate a Return

The process is straightforward. No hidden steps, no making you feel bad for asking.

Email Us First

Send an email to [email protected] with your order number, the item(s) you're returning, and the reason. If it's a defect or damage, include a photo.

We Review & Respond

We'll confirm eligibility and send you a return authorization within 2 business days. Don't ship anything back without this — it speeds up the process significantly.

Ship the Item Back

Package the item securely and ship it to the address we provide. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product). We recommend a tracked shipping method — we can't process a return we never receive.

Refund or Exchange Processed

Once we receive and inspect the item (1–2 business days), we'll issue your refund or ship your exchange. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

After we approve your return and process the refund, here's how long it takes to appear:

Partial refunds: Items returned with visible wear, missing tags, or damaged packaging may be subject to a restocking deduction. We'll communicate this before processing. We won't surprise you.

Exchanges

Want a different size or color? We'll do our best to accommodate exchanges on eligible apparel items, subject to inventory availability.

The fastest path to an exchange: initiate a return (steps above) and place a new order for the correct item at the same time. This guarantees you get the right item before inventory runs out. We'll process your refund as soon as the return arrives.

If you'd prefer we handle it as a direct swap, just say so in your email — we'll work through it with you.

Defects & Our Mistakes

If we sent you the wrong item, a defective product, or something arrived damaged — we cover it, no questions asked. We'll send a prepaid return label and reship your correct order at no additional cost, or issue a full refund. Your choice.

Photo documentation speeds this up but isn't always required. Contact us within 14 days of delivery for defect claims.

Why We Wrote This Policy the Way We Did

Most return policies are written to protect the company. This one is written to be clear with you — because that's what GOALS by Splurjj is about. Build structure. Practice discipline. Become the proof. That applies to how we run our business too.

We're a small company building something real. Every product represents our standard. When something falls short of that, we want to know. When you have a legitimate issue, we fix it. When the product was good and the situation is just post-purchase regret, we ask you to be honest about it — the same way we're being honest with you here.

Returns cost us money. A high return rate means something in our product, our marketing, or our descriptions isn't right — and we want to fix those things at the source. So if you return something, tell us why. It makes us better. That's the deal.
